Diamond jewellery collection
The quality of a diamond depends on four factors – Carat, Clarity, Color and Cut. The four C’s are the main characteristics that determine the appearance and price of a diamond.
The weight of a diamond is indicated by the unit ‘carat’. For example, a 5-carat diamond weighs 1 gram. Of course you choose the weight of your diamond entirely yourself. The purity is determined by the number and size of the impurities. Impurities are created during the diamond’s formation process. The color of a diamond is expressed using the GIA color scale and starts at D (colorless) and ends at Z (light yellow). The cut is determined by the proportions, symmetry and polishing of the diamond. Nevertheless, the main determinant for the price is its unique history and characteristics.
